Childhood
Published October 19, 2010
Some of the happiest memories I have from my childhood are related to war games. I don’t think it is related to the act of war itself, nor the desire to kill or avoid being killed. But more to the sensation of being outside, running and enjoying the time with my friends. Recently, I am asking myself would anything be different if we didn’t play war games when we were kids. If our world would gradually change (improve, stop being such a violent place) if our children would stop playing violent games. That is the time when their mind set is formed, so eventually it might have some impact. But, I suppose we’ll never know.
